Covid-19 Safety Precautions

Here is what Wells Fargo is doing:

  • Deep disinfection of the entire events center daily.
  • Seating will be disinfected prior to Saturday’s events and again for Sunday.
  • Staff training on disinfection and safety equipment.
  • Using EPA approved disinfectant for COVID-19 amongst many other pathogens.
  • Purchase of Electrostatic sprayers for 360 coverage on touch point surfaces.
  • Pre-and post-event disinfection of surfaces includes door handles, furniture, restroom fixtures and dispensers, elevator buttons, escalator rails, handrails, etc.
  • Constant disinfection of touch points during event.
  • Elevator operators will wear masks and gloves and be the only ones to touch the elevator buttons.
  • Sanitation stations will be located at entries, elevators, escalator landings, docks, restrooms, and auxiliary spaces.
  • Reduce lobby and foyer furniture to comply with social distancing standards.
  • Replace building air filters.
  • Build event set-ups in accordance with CDC and social distancing guidelines.

Additional steps COL is taking…

  • Only 3,700 in-person tickets will be sold this year, half of the 2018 attendance, to allow for social distancing.
  • We will have more entryway ticket screeners to allow easier, social distanced access into the Arena.
  • Seating will be set apart, such as every other row or other spacing configuration.
  • We will allow for a group of 12 people maximum attending together, to sit together.
  • We will livestream the event (same price as an in-person ticket) to allow people to attend from the safety of their homes.
  • We also will follow the Diocese of Des Moines guideline on receiving the Holy Eucharist.
  • Exhibitors will be located farther apart from previous years.
  • We will be offering prayers, the best weapon of all!

Masks are highly encouraged in all common areas such as exhibition areas, restrooms, and concession stands as a courtesy.
